My Thoughts

Shoko is a new girl in the elementary school.  She is very different than any of the other kids, because she is deaf.  She writes in her notebook to communicate to the other kids.  But there is one kid in particular, Shoyo that really bullies Shoko.  Shoyo is really mean to her and some of the other kids in the class is also mean to Shoko.  She eventually leaves the school, because she continually gets bullied.

I really liked this manga.  I feel so bad for Shoko, kids just don't understand that she can not help that she is deaf.  And yeah she may be different, but that does not mean that other kids can be mean to her.  Shoyo is such a little punk, I do not like him at all!!  How can you be so rude to someone when they are different?

Overall, I definitely recommend this manga!!  I can't wait to get into the next volume!!
